Rod Argent
Rodney Terence "Rod" Argent (born June 14, 1945 in St Albans ) is a British musician . He was a founding member of the musical groups The Zombies and Argent .
Life
Rod Argent grew up in St Albans / Hertfordshire . As a child he sang as a choirboy in St. Albans Cathedral Choir. During his school days he met Paul Atkinson and Hugh Grundy, together with Colin Blunstone and Chris White they founded the music group The Zombies in 1961 . In 1967 the group broke up and Rod Argent formed the band Argent along with Russ Ballard , Waltham Cross, Jim Rodford and Robert Henrit .
