geography

The Río Rodil rises in the Asturian Mountains near the hamlet of Baos, which in 2006 was still inhabited by an old man. It flows into the Rio Eo .

Flora and fauna

The river is known among sport fishermen for its abundance of salmon and trout as well as the coveted crayfish .

Several species of duck such as the mallard or the wigeon are also represented here in high population density.
