Rodolfo Casanova , full name Rodolfo Daniel Casanova Falero , (born September 13, 1981 ) is a Uruguayan athlete .

The 1.90 meter tall Rodolfo Casanova starts in the throwing disciplines. At the national level he was 15 years in a row (as of 2013) Uruguayan champion in discus throwing. At least 2001 he was also the Uruguayan hammer throw champion and 2001 and 2011 in the shot put. He also won the South American "Gran Prix" and "Super Gran Prix". In 2006 he broke the 57-year-old Uruguayan discus record set by Enrique "La Polla" Vazquez from Fray Bentos . That year he was awarded the Premio Juancho . Casanova was part of the Uruguayan squad at the Pan American Games 2011 in Guadalajara and competed there in discus throwing. He also took part in the discus throwing at the 2014 South American Games in Santiago de Chile . There he reached the final.

In 2014 he had a season best of 54.20 meters (as of March 2014) with the discus. He set his personal best in discus throwing on April 14, 2012 with 54.92 meters in San Carlos . This mark is more recent (as of June 15, 2015) Uruguayan record . In a hammer throw he reached 43.22 meters on April 11, 2010 in Montevideo . The personal record in the shot put is 13.00 meters and dates from November 13, 2011.
