Rodrigo Rodríguez , full name Rodrigo Gabriel Rodríguez Dubovich , (born November 25, 1995 in Paysandú ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.85 meter tall goalkeeper Rodríguez has been with the Uruguayan capital city club Liverpool Montevideo at least since the 2011/12 season . Several times he was a member of the matchday squad of the first division team. But initially it was not used. He finally made his debut on May 16, 2015 in a 0-0 draw in the away game against Miramar Misiones in the Segunda División , when he was ordered by coach Alejandro Apud into the starting line-up. By the end of the season, when his club was promoted to the Primera División , he ran in a total of three second division games. In the 2015/16 season he played a first division match. He was also used in five games of the Copa Libertadores U-20 2016 , which his club finished in second place after the 0-1 defeat in the final against São Paulo FC .

National team

Rodríguez took part in the course of the Uruguayan U-20 national team in March 2014 . He made his U-20 debut on April 17, 2014 at the latest under coach Fabián Coito with a starting line-up in the 1-1 draw in the international friendly against the Chilean team.
