The Roepke Passage ( Spanish Pasaje Roepke , in Argentina Pasaje Mastelero ) is a strait before the Danco Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located between Rudolphy Point on Bryde Island in the north and Bruce Island in the south. The passage connects the Gerlache Strait in the west with the Argentino Canal in the east.
Chilean scientists named them after Corvette Captain Reinaldo Roepke Rudloff, commander of the Leocotón , one of the ships of the 7th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1952-1953). The background of the Argentine naming is not known.
