biography

The first points in a World Cup race took Rossat-Mignod on January 6, 1967 as fifth in the giant slalom in Berchtesgaden . In the following winter he never finished in the points, which is why he also missed qualifying for the 1968 Winter Olympics. In the 1968/69 season he got two top 10 results, but only one in the 1969/70 season .

In the 1970/71 season Rossat-Mignod was able to achieve three results in the top ten. He had his most successful season in the 1971/72 season . He won the giant slalom in Berchtesgaden on January 10, 1972 and was third in Pra-Loup two months later. At the 1972 Winter Olympics , he was 15th in the downhill, while he was eliminated in the giant slalom (after eighth best time in the first run).

Eighth place remained in the 1972/73 season Rossat-Mignod's best result, after which he resigned from top-class sport.
