The Rogers Peak is a 1520 m high mountain in the Ellsworth Mountains of the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the Heritage Range, it rises on the eastern flank of the mouth of the Rennell Glacier in the Splettstoesser Glacier .
A team of geologists from the University of Minnesota , who worked here between 1963 and 1964, made the name. It is named after the geologist M. Alan Rogers, who explored the Hart Hills and Whitmore Mountains during this time .
