Rogging is a district of the municipality of Pfakofen in the Upper Palatinate district of Regensburg in Bavaria .
Location and accessibility
Rogging is located about one kilometer southwest of Pfakofen and is connected to it via State Road 2146 ( Rogginger Straße ). The Große Laber flows south of the village .
history
In a deed of donation dated August 18, 831, King Ludwig the German confirmed to Abbot Bishop Balturich that Hruchinga (Rogging) and Folinchova (Pfellkofen) had been donated to the court chaplain and deacon Erchanfried. This makes the two places the oldest known in the community.
Towards the end of the Thirty Years War , Rogging was used as winter quarters by Swedish military units in 1646/47.
