Roland Bernhard (* 20th January 1957 in Tübingen ) is a German qualified lawyer and since October 1, 2008 District of Böblingen district .

Life

Roland Bernhard (independent) studied law in Tübingen after completing his military service . He then completed his legal clerkship at the Tübingen regional court , the Tübingen public prosecutor's office and the Tübingen district office .

In 1986 he began his professional life in the Böblingen District Office; first as head of the legal office, then as head of the district social welfare office. In 1989 he switched to the Ministry of the Interior in Baden-Württemberg , initially in the municipal department. This was followed by lectureships in the Ministry of the Interior in the areas of citizenship law, admission of repatriates and immigration and asylum law.

In 1996, after seven years, Bernhard moved to the office of First State Official and Deputy District Administrator in the Calw district . There he was first state civil servant, finance department and transport department for twelve years. He also coordinated the implementation of the administrative structural reform.

On July 21, 2008, he was elected as the new district administrator with 47 out of 80 votes in the first ballot and thus prevailed against his competitor. Since October 1st, 2008 he has been the district administrator of the Boeblingen district. On July 18, 2016, he was re-elected with 70 out of 80 votes.

Roland Bernhard is married and has six children.
