Roland Nilsson ( Roland Fritz Nilsson; born November 26, 1924 in Svanö , Kramfors , † February 21, 2014 in Alton , Illinois ) was a Swedish shot putter and discus thrower .
In the shot put he finished fourth at the European Athletics Championships in Oslo in 1946 and was eliminated from qualifying at the 1948 Olympic Games in London.
In 1952 he came in fifth place in the shot put and seventh place in the discus throw at the Olympic Games in Helsinki .
At the EM 1954 in Basel he was fourth in the shot put and fifth in the discus throw.
Six times he was Swedish champion in the shot put (1946-1949, 1952, 1954) and twice in discus throw (1952, 1954).
