Roland Sternisko (born April 10, 1988 in Würzburg ) is a German football player .

Career

Roland Sternisko spent his youth with various clubs in his homeland in Lower Franconia, first with SV in Waldbrunn near Würzburg, then with the Würzburger Kickers and finally for 1. FC Schweinfurt 05 . Most recently he played in youth at Würzburger FV . There he made his senior debut in the Bavarian League at the end of 2007 and played the season from then on. In the next season he started again in the WFV team, but at the beginning of August 2008 the Lower Franconian took the opportunity and moved to a higher league for TSV 1860 Munich .

The Upper Bavaria brought Sternisko as a striker for the U-23, but he developed more and more into a midfielder with his new club. He played with the Löwen for three years and was most recently captain of the second team in the Regionalliga Süd, but did not make the leap into the second division team.

He then left the 60s after his contract expired in summer 2011 and joined SpVgg Unterhaching in the third division. There a player for the defensive midfield was sought and Sternisko was in the regular team from the first day of the match. Sternisko was the only SpVgg player to play all 19 first round games over the full playing time and scored two goals. He was also used twice in the DFB-Pokal and contributed to the surprise victory against Bundesliga club SC Freiburg in the first round, the interim equalization to 1-1.
