Florian Niederlechner (born October 24, 1990 in Ebersberg ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Florian Niederlechner comes from Hohenlinden in the Ebersberg district . He had started playing football at SV Hohenlinden before he received his youth training at TSV 1860 Munich from the U-13 . Then he returned and played in the B and A youth of TSV Ebersberg .

At the age of 17 he moved to the national league team of the neighboring FC Falke Markt Schwaben and was used there as a striker. He played a class higher in the Bayernliga in the 2010/11 season. With his new club, FC Ismaning , Niederlechner became champions at the end of the season, to which he contributed with his 19 goals this season.

The trained industrial clerk then accepted an offer from third division club SpVgg Unterhaching . From the beginning he was a regular player and came in the first half of the season to 17 league games in which he scored five goals. The attacker also played two games in the DFB Cup against SC Freiburg and VfL Bochum . Niederlechner was involved in the victory in the first round against the Bundesliga club from Freiburg when he was fouled before the penalty that put SpVgg in the lead.

In early January 2013 Niederlechner moved to league competitor 1. FC Heidenheim . He signed a contract valid until the end of June 2015. With the FCH, he became champions of the 3rd division in the 2013/14 season and was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga . For the 2015/16 season he was signed by Bundesliga club 1. FSV Mainz 05 . He received a four-year contract.

At the end of January 2016, he was awarded to the second division club SC Freiburg for 18 months . After he was promoted to the Bundesliga with SC Freiburg - Niederlechner had contributed eight goals in the second half of the season - he scored on October 15, 2016, the 7th matchday of the 2016/17 season, in the 1: 2 away defeat against the TSG 1899 Hoffenheim scored their first Bundesliga goal. In the 2: 4 away defeat against 1. FSV Mainz 05 on November 19, 2016, Niederlechner saw the yellow card after eight seconds of play, which was the earliest yellow card since data collection began in the Bundesliga. At the beginning of May 2017 he was signed by SC Freiburg.

The striker has been playing for FC Augsburg since the 2019/20 season . He has a contract until June 2022.
