Ohis Felix Uduokhai (born September 9, 1997 in Annaberg-Buchholz ) is a German football player of Nigerian descent. The central defender is under contract with FC Augsburg and is a multiple German junior international.
Career
societies
Uduokhai played in his youth for VfB Annaberg 09 and FC Erzgebirge Aue before moving to the youth department of TSV 1860 Munich in 2008 . There he went through the youth teams and from October 2015 he played for the second team in the Regionalliga Bayern . In the season 2016/17 Uduokhai was also in the squad of the professional team. For this he made his debut on September 12, 2016 in a 2-1 away win against 1. FC Nürnberg in the 2nd Bundesliga , after he had been substituted for Maximilian Wittek in the 88th minute . On November 6, 2016, Uduokhai scored his first competitive goal in the 3-2 defeat against SV Sandhausen .
For the 2017/18 season , Uduokhai moved to Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg , with whom he signed a five-year contract. There he scored his first Bundesliga goal in injury time in the 1-1 draw against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim on October 22, 2017 (9th matchday).
For the third match day of the 2019/20 Bundesliga season , the defender was initially loaned out to league rivals FC Augsburg until the end of the season. In central defense, Uduokhai was regularly used both under Martin Schmidt and his successor Heiko Herrlich . After 22 completed games, Augsburg then withdrew the purchase option included in the loan agreement at the beginning of June 2020 and firmly committed the player. His former club 1860 Munich will receive ten percent of the transfer fee.
National team
Uduokhai played once for the German U19 national team in a 3-0 win against Sweden on November 13, 2015 . On September 1, 2016, he made his debut in the 0-1 defeat against Italy in the U20 selection .
