Rolf-Herbert Peters
Rolf-Herbert Peters (born March 20, 1961 in Warburg , Westphalia) is a German historian , journalist and author . He is a reporter in the economics and politics department at Stern magazine .
Life
Peters studied Middle and New History, Ancient History and Philosophy at the University of Cologne . As a graduation he obtained the Magister Artium. His professional positions led him to Markt + Technik Verlag , RTL Group , Wirtschaftswoche , BIZZ Magazin, Capital , Stern. In 2009 he played a leading role in the uncovering of the Nürburgring scandal. Peters is the recipient of the Forum Mittelstand 2006 journalist prize, the 2010 Ergo Direkt media prize and the 2nd Helmut Schmidt journalist prize 2012. He is married, has two sons and lives with his family in Pulheim near Cologne.
