Rolf Bock

Rolf Bock (born February 5, 1937 ) is a former German soccer coach .

As an active player he was an attacking midfielder at Rheine 09 and SG Gronau . In Gronau he was a player coach and led the team up to the state league. He was also the initiator and founding member of the TuS St. Arnold in Neuenkirchen.

He was trained as a sports and soccer teacher at the Sports University in Cologne and initially trained the amateurs at Borussia Dortmund and then rose to become an assistant coach. He coached the professionals in the closing stages of the Bundesliga season 1980/81 after Udo Lattek was released from his contract after the death of his son.

On January 18, 1983 he took over in the 2nd division Rot-Weiss Essen , secured relegation, but was dismissed in the new season on October 12, 1983.

He founded his soccer school in 2001 and found a cooperation partner in SV Stockum.
