Rolf Borrmann
Rolf Borrmann (born July 23, 1928 in Magdeburg ; † December 19, 2007 in Berlin ) was a German educator , sex educator and sports official .
Borrmann was originally a vocational school teacher and director. He specialized in the field of sex education, particularly through parents and teachers. In 1961 he was at the Humboldt University of Berlin with a thesis on the sexual education of the children and adolescents with special reference to participation of the teacher of general polytechnic high school in the German Democratic Republic doctorate and had in 1965 at the University of Jena holds the chair for systematic pedagogy.
From 1970 Borrmann worked at the newly founded Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the GDR in Berlin. In the same year he became president of the German Fencing Association of the GDR (DFV), which he remained until the DFV joined the German Fencing Association in 1990.
Rolf Borrmann was known to a broad young audience through his column Professor Borrmann answers in the monthly GDR youth magazine neue leben , in which he answered readers' questions about love and sexuality, comparable to “ Dr. Sommer ”in the Federal Republic of Germany or Jutta Resch-Treuwerth in the newspaper Junge Welt .
