Rolf Hauer

Rolf Hauer (born September 10, 1911 in Breisach ; † June 8, 2000 in Hanover ) was a German administrative lawyer and president of the Hanover Monastery Chamber .

Life

Rolf Hauer studied law and political science at the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg and in 1938 in Freiburg with his thesis The sabotage in criminal Dr. jur. PhD. In 1950 he entered the administrative service in Lower Saxony in the administrative district of Braunschweig, where he rose to become director of the monastery chamber (1970–1979).

As a part-time job and as a volunteer, he saw himself committed to the foundation system. From 1975 to 1990 he was chairman of the Federal Association of German Foundations , then its honorary chairman. He also makes an outstanding contribution to the publication system of this association.
