The author runs an online mail order bookshop near Bremen .

He has been married since 2004 and has a daughter and two sons.

Author's style

The author's style is strongly reminiscent of the Western American authors of the early 1950s and 1960s, which are worthy of the actions, descriptions of people and landscapes, as well as the hard action of some of the leading authors of the time. He uses a concise, realistic language and values striking dialogues, whereby he clearly stands out from the sex-laden lines of numerous dime novels.

The author is currently working on a series dealing with the great cattle rushes after 1866, when daring men in Texas picked up stray cattle and drove them to the Kansas and Missouri markets. The protagonist of this series is the trail boss Nolan Harper, a tough, stubborn and unyielding man, whose figure is very similar to that of Gil Favor (played by Eric Fleming) from the Rawhide series (1959-1965).
