Rolf Zeller

Rolf Zeller (born March 21, 1934 - October 30, 2018 ) was a German football player. Under the later national coach Helmut Schön , he joined the amateur football team in April 1963 .

career

The long-time top performer of the Württemberg SV Germania Bietigheim rose to the first amateur league in Northern Württemberg with the blue-whites from Ellental in 1961 . On August 12, 1962, Zeller and colleagues won the WFV Cup with a 2-0 win against FV 09 Nürtingen . At the latest after the games with Württemberg in the competition for the regional cup in 1963, when the "Swabians" only failed after a 2-0 defeat in the semifinals at the eventual winner Bavaria, the Bietigheimer was also for Helmut Schön in the rebuilding of a new DFB Amateur national team has become interesting.
