Roller hockey world championship 1948

The roller hockey world championship in 1948 was the fourth world championship in roller hockey . It took place from March 24th to March 28th, 1948 in Montreux . The tournament was organized by the Federation Internationale de Patinage a Roulettes and was also the European roller hockey championship, despite the participation of Egypt.

The nine participating teams played against each other in the league system .

36 games were played in which 285 goals were scored. It was the first World Cup for the Netherlands and Egypt. The winner of the tournament was Portugal. It was Portugal's second title in a row.
