Roller hockey world championship 1962

The roller hockey world championship in 1962 was the 15th world championship in roller hockey . It took place from March 28 to April 5, 1962 in Santiago de Chile . The tournament was organized by the Fédération Internationale de Roller Sports .

The ten participating teams played against each other in the league system .

45 games were played in which 270 goals were scored. The winner of the tournament was Portugal. It was Portugal's ninth title and the fourth in a row. It was the first world championship outside of Europe.
