World roller hockey championship 1949

The roller hockey world championship in 1949 was the fifth world championship in roller hockey . It took place in Lisbon from May 28 to June 3, 1949 . The tournament was organized by the Federation Internationale de Patinage a Roulettes and was also the European roller hockey championship.

The eight participating teams played against each other in the league system .

28 games were played in which 201 goals were scored. The winner of the tournament was Portugal. It was Portugal's third title in a row.
