Roller hockey world championship 1955

The 1955 roller hockey world championship was the eleventh world championship in roller hockey . It took place from May 14th to May 21st, 1955 in Milan . The tournament was organized by the Federation Internationale de Patinage a Roulettes and was also the European roller hockey championship, despite the participation of Chile.

The 14 participating teams first played against each other in four groups. Then the two best placed players in each group played against each other in one group and the rest in one group. Each group played in a different city, only the final round of the top eight was played in Milan, the official venue.

61 games were played in which 328 goals were scored. The winner of the tournament was Spain. It was Spain's second title in a row.
