Roman Keill

Roman Keill (born July 26, 1888 in Freilassing , † September 14, 1960 in Rosenheim ) was a German businessman.

Career

Keill worked as an authorized signatory at the United Art Mills Landshut-Rosenheim . After the invasion of the US troops on the morning of May 2, 1945 and the surrender without resistance, he was appointed acting mayor of the American military government. After the formation of a residents' committee, the lawyer Max Drexl was elected as his successor on May 6, 1945 .
