Max Drexl

Max Drexl (born March 25, 1887 in Bernried ; † March 18, 1962 ) was a German lawyer and local politician ( CSU ).

Career

Drexl studied law and co-founded a law firm in Rosenheim in December 1927. In addition, he was a member of the supervisory board of Marmorindustrie Kiefer AG for more than 30 years , including eleven years as chairman.

After the end of the Second World War he was temporarily appointed First Mayor of Rosenheim by the US military authorities . Hubert Weinberger replaced him in this position on August 3, 1945 . From May 1946 to 1952 Drexl was a member of the city council and chaired the CSU parliamentary group.
