Romanas Algimantas Sedlickas

Romanas Algimantas Sedlickas (born July 23, 1942 in Vievis ) is a Lithuanian lawyer, lawyer and former politician .

Life

In 1944 his family emigrated to Germany and then to the USA. In 1960 he graduated from the Aqvinas Institute in Rochester and in 1964 studied philosophy at Fordham University . In 1967 he received his doctorate in law from the University at Buffalo . He then served in the Army in the United States Air Force in Vietnam . He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal . He then worked as a lawyer in business law .

In 1991 Sedlickas returned to Lithuania . He worked as a business lawyer and as a consultant at the Institute for Semiconductor Physics at Lietuvos mokslų akademija . From 2000 to 2004 he was a member of the Seimas . In 2003 he was elected to the Kaunas City Council . He works in the law firm A. Marcinkevičius, A. Kočegarovas ir partneriai "Balticus Advocatus".

From 1999 Sedlickas was a member of the Lietuvos liberalų sąjunga , from 2003 the Liberalų ir centro sąjunga and then the Lietuvos Respublikos liberalų sąjūdis .
