Romas Adomavičius (born May 31, 1953 in Vilkija , Kaunas Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian politician, deputy mayor of the municipality of Vilnius .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1971 at the Miroslavas Middle School in the district of Alytus , he graduated from 1971 to 1976 with a degree in civil engineering as a civil engineer at the Vilniaus inžinerinis statybos institutas . In 1976 he worked as a senior engineer at the Ignalina nuclear power plant . From 1978 to 1984 he was the second and first Komsomol secretary of the Ignalina district . From 1984 to 1986 he studied at the party college in Leningrad . From 1986 to 1991 he worked at Lietuvos komunistų partija in Kapsukas . In 1992 he was general manager in the company "Transtrado".

From 1982 to 1984 he was a deputy in the Ignalina Deputy Council , and from 1990 to 1991 in the Marijampolė Deputy Council . Since 2007 he has been a member of the Vilnius City Council. From 2009 to 2010 he was and since 2011 he has been the deputy mayor of Vilnius .

He was a member of LKP ( CPSU ), from 1991 Lietuvos Demokratieinė darbo partija . Since 2001 he has been a member of Lietuvos socialdemokratų partija .
