The Romero rock ( Spanish Islote astronomo Romero ) is a 160 m high cliff in the group of Duroch Islands off the north coast of Trinity Peninsula in the north of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula .
Participants of the 2nd Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1947–1948) named the rock after the Chilean astronomer Guillermo Romero González, who was involved in the research trip. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names translated the name into English in 1964 in an adapted form.
