Romualdas Gėgžnas

Romualdas Gėgžnas (born June 25, 1955 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian manager and politician , Vice Minister of Finance.

Life

After graduating from the 7th Middle School in Vilnius in 1973, Gėgžnas completed his diploma studies at the Industrial Economics Faculty of the Vilniaus universitetas from 1973 to 1978 . From 1978 to 1980 he worked at Valstybinio televizijos ir radijo komitetas , from 1991 to 1993 as deputy head of the commercial department at the Ministry of International Economic Relations , from 1990 to 1991 at the other ministry and from 1997 to 2001 at the aviation company AB “Aviakompanija Lietuva”.

From 2007 to 2009 Gėgžnas was project manager for the European Parliament member Margarita Starkevičiūtė . In 2010 he was General Manager of UAB “ Visagino energetikos remontas”. From 2011 to 2013 he was director at UAB "IREKO". Since 2015 he has been Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Finance of Lithuania , Deputy Minister Rimantas Šadžius in the Butkevičius cabinet .

Gėgžnas is a member of the Tvarka ir teisingumas party .
