Ronald Janezic

Ronald Janezic (born August 26, 1968 in Neunkirchen in Lower Austria ) is an Austrian horn player .

Life

Ronald Janezic studied from 1983 with Friedrich Gabler at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and with Roland Berger and his father Willibald.

Janezic was accepted into the State Opera Orchestra on January 1, 1990 and has been a solo horn member of the Vienna Philharmonic since July 1, 1992 , succeeding Roland Berger . As a soloist he played several solo concerts with the Vienna Philharmonic, e. B. the Horn Concerto No. 2 by Richard Strauss . In addition to his orchestral work, he is a member of numerous ensembles such as the Vienna Philharmonic Horn Quartet, the Vienna Octet and the Phil Blech Ensemble.

His brother Florian Janezic (* 1971) is also a horn player and horn teacher.
