Ronald Pohle (born May 22, 1960 in Leipzig ) is a German politician ( CDU ). Since September 2009 he has been a member of the Saxon state parliament .

Life and politics

Ronald Pohle is a heating installer by profession. In 1994 he took over the Bautec family business and has been an independent component dealer ever since. For the period of his state parliament mandate, he handed over management to the company by procuration.

He has been a member of the CDU since 2003. In the 2004 state elections , he narrowly failed as a direct candidate in the Leipzig 5 constituency because of Barbara Höll ( PDS ). In 2009 he succeeded in entering the Saxon state parliament with a share of 32.1% of the direct votes. There he was a member of the Constitutional, Legal and European Committees and the Committee on Economics, Labor and Transport. In September 2014, Pohle again succeeded in winning the direct mandate of his Leipzig constituency and returning to the Saxon state parliament. There he is a member of the Interior Committee and the Committee on Economy, Labor and Transport. Pohle is also one of five members of the Parliamentary Control Committee, which, on behalf of Parliament, controls the police measures for acoustic housing surveillance and other use of special police means. Within the CDU parliamentary group in the state parliament, Pohle holds the office of spokesman for trade policy and is a representative for the Bundeswehr.

Pohle is chairman of the local association of the CDU Leipzig East and a member of the plenary assembly of the Leipzig Chamber of Crafts . In 2012 he was elected chairman of the Leipzig district association of the CDU's SME and Business Association.

In the 2019 state elections in Saxony , he was elected constituency member in the Leipzig 1 constituency with 31.1% of the direct votes.
