Ronald A. Rossi (born December 2, 1954 in Bronx , New York ) is a former American luge athlete .

Rossi was active in both single and doubles. In 1982 he was third at the US Luge Championships. In doubles he competed with Doug Bateman . Together they finished sixth in the "Grand Prix" in Igls in 1983 . This was the best result for a US two-seater to date. In the same year Rossi and Bateman became North American champions in their discipline. Together they were also able to qualify for the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo . There they reached ninth place.

Rossi attended Lincoln High School in Yonkers , New York , where he was active in baseball and athletics . In 1979 he graduated from Manhattan College with a degree in electrical engineering . He worked as a system operator for a New York advertising company and for a long time managing director of the US Luge Federation.
