Ronalds Cinks (born March 11, 1990 in Riga , Latvian SSR ) is a Latvian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK SMScredit.lv in the Latvian ice hockey league since 2011 .

Career

Ronalds Cinks began his career as an ice hockey player with Riga / Saga / LB 90, for which he was active in the Latvian U18 championship in the 2006/07 season. The attacker spent the following season with the Mississauga Reps from the Canadian Junior League Metropolitan Toronto Hockey League (MTHL), as well as the SK Riga 18 in the second Latvian division. For the 2008/09 season Cinks received a contract with Dinamo Riga , for which he remained in the newly founded Continental Hockey League in a total of seven games without punishment. At the same time he played Dinamo's farm team, HK Riga 2000 , in the Belarusian extra league . He scored seven goals and 14 assists in 37 games. In the 2009/10 season he played parallel for Dinamo Riga in the KHL and the Dinamo Juniors Riga in the Belarusian Extraliga.

The 2010/11 season spent Cinks in the newly founded multinational youth league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga , in which he played for HK Riga and MHK Krylya Sovetov Dmitrov. For the 2011/12 season he moved to HK SMScredit.lv from the Latvian ice hockey league .

International

For Latvia , Cinks took part in the U18 World Junior Championships in 2007 and 2008 and the U20 World Junior Championship in 2009 .
