Ronny Rosenthal (born October 11, 1963 in Haifa ) is a former Israeli soccer player .

The striker began his career at Maccabi Haifa , a club far removed from today's top team, and scored his first two goals in their first professional game at the age of 16. In 1980 Maccabi rose to the first division, and in the 1983/84 season the team won the first championship.

After differences Rosenthal went to Club Bruges . In the two years there, the club won two titles. Then Rosenthal switched to Standard Liège , where he made his international breakthrough. He later moved to Liverpool . In 1990 Rosenthal scored seven goals in eight games for Liverpool and became English champions.

He later played less successfully and moved in 1997 to the rise of Watford FC in the Premier League . Other clubs were Luton Town and Tottenham Hotspur .

Ronny Rosenthal played 60 international matches for Israel . In 1999 he ended his playing career at the age of 36.
