Ronny Wähner

Ronny Wähner (born June 30, 1975 in Annaberg-Buchholz ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and member of the Saxon state parliament .

biography

Ronny Wähner passed his Abitur at St.-Annen-Gymnasium in Annaberg-Buchholz in 1994 and then did his basic military service. From 1995 to 1998 he studied at the University of Applied Sciences for Administration in Meißen , which he graduated from with a degree in finance. From 1998 he worked as a tax auditor in the Saxon financial administration. From 2008 to 2011 he studied part-time at the Administration and Business Academy in Chemnitz and thus became a Diplom-Verwaltungs- und Betriebswirt (VWA).

Wähner is Protestant, married and has three children.

Wähner has been a member of the CDU since 2001.

Already in local elections in Saxony in 1999 he was a member of the council of Königswalde become. In the local elections in Saxony in 2004 he was also elected to the district council of the Altlandkreis Annaberg and in the local elections in Saxony in 2008 he was then elected to the newly named district council of the Erzgebirgskreis . Wähner has been honorary mayor of Königswalde since 2013.

In the state elections in Saxony in 2019 , he was again elected constituency member in the Erzgebirge 4 constituency with 35.6 percent of the direct votes. He is now active as a member of the Budget and Finance Committee, the Committee on Regional Development and the Committee on Energy, Climate Protection, Environment and Agriculture.
