Rosalind Singha Ang

Rosalind Singha Ang (* around 1940 ) is a former badminton player from Malaysia .

Career

Rosalind Singha Ang celebrated her first major international success in 1965 at the Southeast Asian Games, where she won the women's singles. Six years later she was successful again in the women's singles final against Thongkam Kingmanee from Thailand at the same event and also won silver in doubles with Teoh Siew Yong . She also won silver with the Malaysian women's team. In the final against Thailand, which was just lost 3-2, Singha Ang clearly won her singles against Petchroong Liengtrakulngam , but lost the doubles against Achara Pattabongse and Thongkam Kingmanee. In 1971, she finished third at the Asian Games with Teoh Siew Yong . At the Asian Games she was even more successful in 1966 when she won the mixed with Teh Kew San .

At the Commonwealth Games, she won bronze medals in women's doubles three times in a row from 1966 to 1974. In 1966 and 1970 she was third with Teoh Siew Yong as a partner, in 1974 with Sylvia Ng .
