Rosazzo DOCG is an Italian white wine produced in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region . Since 2011 it has been awarded a "controlled and guaranteed designation of origin " ( DOCG ), which was updated on March 7, 2014.

Growing area

Location of the municipality of Corno di Rosazzo in the former province of Udine (Friuli-Venezia Giulia region)

The cultivation of the vines, the vinification and the bottling may only take place in the following municipalities of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region : San Giovanni al Natisone , Manzano and Corno di Rosazzo . The wine-growing area is very small.

  • Color : more or less intense straw yellow
  • Smell : characteristic, delicate
  • Taste : dry, harmonious, vinous
  • Alcohol content : at least 12.0% vol.
  • Acidity : at least 4.0 g / l
  • Dry extract : at least 19.0 g / l
