Rosemarie Lichte

Rosemarie Lichte (born March 17, 1954 in Aachen ) is a German author.

Life

Rosemarie Lichte studied law in West Berlin and then worked as a lawyer in Berlin , Hagen and Lüdenscheid for 20 years , mainly in asylum law . Rosemarie Lichte lived for some time in Nicaragua and Barcelona , and from 1991 to 1994 again in Berlin-Friedrichshain .

She has been a freelance author since 2002 and lives in Hagen and Schalksmühle (Westphalia). Her texts have been published in magazines such as "Wochenpost" and "Freitag" and in anthologies . She has also published books in the edition lampio . Her children's book “Die Gramusel im See” was illustrated by the Berlin illustrator Renate Totzke-Israel .

In addition to author readings, Lichte also organizes workshops for children. Her readings are mostly connected with music, where she works with the guitarist Elmar Rotter. She was a member of the board of directors of the Ruhr-Mark authors' group and works in the art-mix artist group. In addition to her work as a writer, Lichte also paints and takes part in exhibitions. In 2009 the integration council of the city of Hagen gave her an award for her work with migrants.
