Rosemarie von Schweitzer (born November 9, 1927 at Wasserhof Castle in Gneixendorf near Krems on the Danube ) is a German budget scientist.

Career

After graduating from high school in Homberg (Efze) in 1944 , von Schweitzer was obliged to serve as a young girl leader in a camp for deportation to Kinderland. In 1946 she completed the two-year rural housekeeping apprenticeship as a journeyman. She received further pedagogical training at the State Institute for Agricultural Education in Munich , after her state exams she worked as a teacher at the Agricultural Chamber of Kurhessen in schools in Marburg and Fulda from 1951 . From 1957, von Schweitzer studied sociology, philosophy, educational science and agricultural economics at the University of Frankfurt under Adorno and Horkheimer.
