The rosary altar in Hochaltingen , a district of the Fremdingen community in the Swabian district of Donau-Ries ( Bavaria ), is located in the Catholic parish church of the Assumption of Mary .

The altar in the south-western side chapel of the church is a painted winged altar from 1565. It has three fixed and two movable wings. An aedicule with a triangular gable is available as an extract . On the central main panel is the rosary and on the wings there are scenes from the life of Christ . In the altar extract , the Madonna and Child is flanked in a halo by St. Barbara and St. Katharina depicted. The Last Judgment is on the predella and the coat of arms of the von Hürnheim and von Rechberg families can be seen on the side. All paintings are painted with oil on wood.
