Rosis Mann (working title: The Second Employment ) is a German television film from 1984. The film was originally produced as part of the Polizeiruf 110 series, but was banned before its premiere and then destroyed.

background

The working title of the film was The Second Employment . The shooting of the film took place from March 13 to April 30, 1984 mainly in East Berlin and the surrounding area as well as in Magdeburg . The film was then produced ready for broadcast and its first television broadcast was scheduled for the fall of the same year. However, it did not come to the premiere. The reason is believed to be the escape from the GDR by Hans-Edgar Stecher and two other actors shortly after the shooting. As a result, the broadcast of the film was prohibited and the complete destruction of all film and written material was ordered.

From this film production only a few documents have been preserved in the German Broadcasting Archive in Potsdam-Babelsberg and some in private archives to this day. An example of this is a copy of the script for this film, which is privately owned by the actor Lutz Riemann . He handed this script along with many other pieces from his private archive as a deposit to the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania State Film Archive in Schwerin .

The actual film is considered lost . It counts next to the Police Call 110: At the age of ... , until today one of the two well-known episodes of the series Polizeiruf 110 , which were destroyed on an order at the time.
