Ross Hill

Ross Girotti Hill (born April 11, 1973 in Munich , † January 30, 1990 in Stockbridge , Massachusetts ) was an American actor . He was the adopted son of Lori and Terence Hill .

Life

As a child, Ross Hill worked alongside his adoptive father in the films No one skin like Don Camillo (1983, as Magrino) and Renegade - Terence Hill and the laziest horse in the world (1987, as Matt).

Like his adoptive father, he had strong athletic skills, played soccer, and rowed. Ross alternated his student duties with those of an actor. He was indeed at the beginning of a promising career and was preparing to play the role of Billy the Kid in the film Lucky Luke , a real-life version of the comic strip of the same name , which his father played in the double role of director and protagonist in Santa Fe had started turning. In addition to English, Ross spoke Italian and German very well. He studied at the renowned Middlesex College in Concord , 30 kilometers from Boston .

After spending the weekend with his family, he drove back to college on January 30, 1990 with his friend Kevin Lehmann from Beaumont. On the way, in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, his car hit a plate of ice that had formed on the road and slid into a tree about twenty yards. Ross died instantly, while Kevin died in the hospital that night. Both were 16 years old.

Early accidental death caused a crisis in his father that caused him to slow down his career in the 1990s.
