The Rote Wand is an 1872 m above sea level. A. high mountain in the Totes Gebirge , which rises in the course of the ridge that strikes from the Warscheneck over the Toten Mann to the east. The frequently visited hiking mountain has a striking red colored south face. In winter, the summit is the destination of a popular ski tour. There is a climbing garden on the west side.
