The Dümlerhütte is the Alpine Club Hut of the Tourist Club Linz section of the Austrian Alpine Club .

location

The Dümlerhütte is located at 1495  m above sea level. A. on the Stofferalm at the northeastern foot of the Warscheneck in Upper Austria . There is a material ropeway to supply goods.

History

It was built in 1894 by the Windischgarsten section of the Austrian Tourist Club . The teacher and then secretary of the section, Max Dümler, was not only the main planner and organizer of the construction project, he also played a major role in the development of this region. In 1923 the Linz Tourist Club bought the hut. Extensions took place from 1928 to 1984.

In 2001/2002 a general renovation of the hut was carried out and, among other things, the kitchen was expanded. In 2002 the Dümlerhütte was awarded the environmental seal of approval for Alpine Club huts .
