The Zellerhütte is located in the municipality of Vorderstoder in Upper Austria , Austria . It is a Category I refuge of the PES , section Tourist Club Windischgarsten . It stands at 1575 m above sea level on the way to Warscheneck in the Dead Mountains . This path is, among other things, a section of the European long-distance hiking trail E4 and the Austrian long-distance hiking trail 01 (Northern Alpine Trail ). In 2014 a fully biological sewage treatment plant for the hut's wastewater was put into operation.
