The Rowell Peak is a 1,725 m high mountain in the north of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is the highest peak on Reilly Ridge in the Lanterman Range of the Bowers Mountains .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1983 after the geologist Albert John Rowell (* 1929), who worked in this area between 1981 and 1982 as part of the New Zealand Antarctic Research Program .
