The Rowles Glacier is a 30 km long in the north of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Admiralty Mountains, it flows along the eastern flank of the Dunedin Range in a north-westerly direction to the Dennistoun Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after Desmond S. Rowles of the New Zealand Department of Scientific and Industrial Research , who in 1964 Had heard the cast on the Hallett station .
