Rozalia Lubomirska
Rozalia Chodkiewicz Lubomirska (also Rozalia von Tschernobyl ; born September 16, 1768 in Chernobyl , Poland-Lithuania , today Ukraine ; † June 30, 1794 in Paris , France ) was the daughter of the Polish nobleman , Jan Mikołaj Graf Chodkiewicz and Maria Ludwika Chodkiewicz , née Rzewuska . Rozalia came from the noble family of Chodkiewicz and was by marriage, as Rozalia Lubomirska , princess of the House of Lubomirski .
Life
The politically active Lubomirska was considered one of the most beautiful Polish women of her time and in 1786 she married Prince Aleksander Lubomirski (1751–1804), the castellan of Kiev . With him she had a daughter, Rozalia Lubomirska (1788-1865).
Lubomirska is considered one of the most energetic supporters of the four-year-old Sejm and the new constitution of May 3, 1791 .
During a stay in Paris, Rozalia had contact with the Girondins and was arrested and guillotined as a royalist conspirator during the French Revolution .
