The Rozier Glacier is a glacier on the Danco coast of Graham Land in the north of the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows to Piccard Cove , a side bay of Wilhelmina Bay , which it reaches immediately north of the Sophie cliff .
Participants in the Belgica expedition (1897-1899) of the Belgian polar explorer Adrien de Gerlache de Gomery mapped him. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it on September 23, 1960 after the French physicist Jean-François Pilâtre de Rozier (1754-1795), who in 1783 carried out the first free balloon flight together with François d'Arlandes .
