Rubén González Rocha , called Rubén (born January 29, 1982 in Santiago de Compostela ) is a Spanish football player .

Rubén González began his professional career at Real Madrid Castilla . The native Galician hoped to be recommended for the first team, but between 2002 and 2004 he only made three appearances for "Los Blancos". After he had spent the second half of the 2003/04 season on loan at Borussia Mönchengladbach , he was awarded to the second division club Albacete Balompié in 2004/05 . After another season in Real's second team, he finally moved to the first division club Racing Santander in the 2006/07 season . After a very strong season in the starting line-up, however, he preferred the offer from the second division club Celta Vigo .

The long-time junior national team won in 1999 with the Spanish U-16 selection, the European Championship and took the end of the year with the U-17 team at the 1999 FIFA U-17 World Championship in New Zealand in part, as the Spanish team in the first round of Mexico and Ghana failed.
